It’s getting down to the final stretch.

Senior year.

6 months.

1 semester.

What to do? What to do?

“Majoring in major that don’t make no money,” or a major brings difficulty finding a transitional job without getting a Doctorate is never a good position to be in ESPECIALLY when you lack confidence in your ability to get into a doctorate program brings even additional pressure.

Not being able to get a credible part-time job in the racist city that you’re currently receiving a bachelor’s degree in May of the preceding year, doesn’t help that self-confidence. In their eyes, people of color should work in the fast food industry and I will NEVER sink as low as working in any kind of fast food joint EVER.

Being surrounded by liars and people who want to cheat and profit off your sorrow, continuously decreases the sight of hope that you have in a pessimistic town like this. It makes me sick to believe that I have made this my home for the past 2 ½ years. This twisted town that I currently live in
